This project was designed for the London architecture festival who's theme was 'the playful city'. It aimed to discover the architecture experience as a game, promoting the interaction between the viewer and the object, trying to achieve an engagement between them.
Under this criteria, the cinema box seeks to achieve a communion between modern architecture and educational function.
When approached, the cinema box appears to be a simple architectural expression of proportion. harmony and materials, only unveiling its function as a cinema when the viewer enters.
The London Festival of Architecture 2012 theme 'The Playful City' responded to the presence of the Olympic and Paralympic Games that took place in London at the same time.
